Wiimote Whiteboard

If your organization just invested in whiteboards you may not want to see this video. If you're interested in a low-cost solution, you won't believe how easy it can be. Our technology department just presented this idea to our superintendent and he was floored.

This is really neat! At our district we have been looking into using the wii remotes also. It is sure a lot cheaper and I am sure the students will be more interested in learning, knowing that their wii remotes can be used for such a new way of teaching.

This is an amazing hack! For schools with limited funding this is viable solution. It may even be a good "starter" solution before investing big dollars on boards to see whether teachers will actually use the technology. My experience has been that many teachers end up trying to use smartboards as dry erase boards.

I love this idea. It makes this technology available to teachers that end up buying/paying for their own equipment. I couldn't afford nor deal with a Smart Board (try stuffing that into my laptop bag), but I could set up something like this.
